Through the dominance and expanse of technology, we have the ability to download mobile apps onto our devices that are adaptable and help us perform daily tasks quicker. I have broken down the top 8 apps, outside of social media (because we all have those apps), that I believe should be on your phone. I decided to focus on non-social media apps that provide services that are beneficial to us throughout our daily lives!
GroupMe:

GroupMe is a mobile group messaging app. For those who participate in numerous group chats, this app makes it easier to keep track of all of your conversations. You can name your groups, choose an avatar, and message easily back and forth with a group of people. GroupMe can be accessed online or by downloading the app.
Waze:

Waze is used like any other navigation app, but the updates you view on screen are provided in real-time from other nearby Waze drivers. Individuals can report traffic speeds, road congestion, wrecks, and even obstacles located on the road or side of the highway. This app helps you find the best directions and avoid traffic jams by taking you to the fastest and easiest route available.
Uber:

Uber is a convenient, inexpensive and popular taxi service. Uber provides each customer with a private car that picks you up and drops you off at any chosen location. Uber is a quality service that is fast and effective and can be found in most cities near you. Its platforms can be accessed through the mobile app or at an online website.
Airbnb:

Airbnb is a service used to arrange lodging, homestays, or tourism experiences. Travelers can find quality spaces to stay while traveling or in transit. Airbnb offers you someone’s home as a place to stay, instead of a hotel. There are locations all over the world and you can most likely find a place to stay in any of your desired destinations. This app makes the process of lodging easier at an affordable rate. You can also access this service online or through the mobile app.
Spotify:

Spotify is a popular music streaming service that gives you access to millions of songs, podcasts, and artists around the world. You can create playlists, as well as browse through music collections of friends, your favorite artists, and celebrities. Spotify gives you the ability to access nearly any piece of music you can fathom from your phone.
Venmo:

Venmo is a mobile payment service. It allows users to transfer money to others through the app. The app allows you to pay and also request money from your friends or people you know. This service is an easy and convenient way to pay others when you owe them money and don’t have cash or you don’t want to deal with cash. Payments show up in a Facebook-style feed with messages between users of the items they paid for, without the dollar amount shown.
Amazon:

This app can get you in trouble and make you spend all of your money, if you're not careful. The app allows you to shop for products on your phone from anywhere around the world. We are all familiar with Amazon and the range of products they provide and sell, but having the app makes the process easier and more accessible.
Hopper:

This is a new app I recently downloaded onto my phone. I actually learned about this app through social media influencers. Hopper is an air travel forum that will track flights for you. The app is used to alert you when it’s the best time to buy a plane ticket and when tickets will be at their lowest price. The app will keep an eye on trips for you and send you these notifications the instant prices drop. If you love to travel, this app will help you book a flight in just a few taps.
Ultimately, these are a collection of apps that I chose and believe are important to have on your phone. Each app provides easy daily functions and services with the touch of your fingers.
